New Studio

Well, I guess it's time to add this info to the blog now! I am excited to announce that I will be opening a commercial studio location in Gonzales. Of course I will still offer my on location services, but by having the studio it will make it possible for me to offer things like fun holiday sets, and lower priced mini sessions from time to time.
I chose the Gonzales area to be more centrally located to both my Baton Rouge & New Orleans clients. We have some work to do in the space like painting and floors, but are aiming for an opening day of October 1st. I'll also be offering Halloween mini sessions in early October, details will be added to the blog soon!!

Become a Senior Rep!

Are you junior or senior in high school and willing to work in exchange for some great senior portraits? Then you've come to the right place!
If you qualify for the program, you'll come in for a free photo session in order to produce your free senior rep cards. These will be wallet sized photos from your session, with the studio information printed on them. Pass these out to all of your friends, and when they book a session you'll earn credits for free prints, as well as a free on location session for yourself.

It's so much fun watching them grow!

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is watching these little ones grow up right before my eyes.
This little guy has always been fun to work with, and now he's turning 1!

So first a little flashback...this was his first session at just a few weeks old:

Summer has come to an end in Louisiana

It's only the middle of August, but down here in Louisiana the summer is already over for most kids. So as we've started going back to a normal bedtime routine, doing homework, and packing school lunches, I just wanted to reflect on some of our summer images.

These are the little moments that happen everyday...the little moments that will become some of your fondest memories.

Things like evening rides in the boat with Daddy...


Early morning tee times...


Lazy afternoon naps...

Sharing a popsicle with PawPaw...





Trips to the bottom of the sea...
And then "swimming like a fish" all by yourself...


Learning that your Mom was right when she says you're too skinny...




And maybe also that it's pretty cool having a mom that always wants to take your picture, even if you are only wearing your diaper and have a dirty face. :)



Capture all of the moments of your children's lives. Photographs don't always have to be about pretty dresses and perfect smiles. Every moment is precious, and just like summertime those days will be gone before you know it.
