And the news is....

The studio is moving!!
Starting in March, Kimberly Meng Photography is now home in Denham Springs. I have moved into a neat little spot right in the heart of the antique district. We have work to do to the space, so it will be just a couple weeks before I am conducting sessions there.
We will be completely out of the Gonzales studio by March 14th, and most of it is already packed up!

I hope everyone who visited me in Gonzales will check out the new place in Denham Springs. Once we have all of the work completely done, I do plan on hosting an open house event that *everyone* is invited to!

'07 Senior Rep

And the winners are....

Wow, this was a close contest! Just as soon as I thought there would be a clear winner, another photo would quickly take the lead! We ended up with about 6 photos that had an all out battle to the finish before it was all said and done!

Saturday I had fun with this very cool birthday boy and his too cute doggie. They are both wonderful models!

Contest - 2006 Favorite Image of the Year

It's time to choose your favorite image of the year! It was hard narrowing it down to 20, but I did my best. The prizes are:

1st place - the gorgeous black onyx choker shown. This 16" choker is made out of black onyx semi precious stones. Two strands with a box clasp. All components are sterling silver, and your image will be printed on both sides of a beautiful clay tile. Retails for $160
2nd place - $50 gift certificate to be used towards your next session
3rd place - $25 gift certificate to be used towards your next session

The cake's on us!

I've shared these cuties on my blog before, because I've photographed them a few times since they were just itty bitty things. And now they are turning 1 year old!

I wanted to share some here for mom & family...I don't think she'll be surprised to see that I have a few more photos of her little boy, who was a bit more in the mood for photos than his sister. :)
