Some recents....

New Summer Schedule

In trying to get things better organized now that summer is almost here and the little ones will have different schedules, I am changing up my availability for the next few months.

Please note that now studio sessions will be available Wed-Sat, and on location sessions will be available on Thur & Sun only.

Open House

I'll be hosting an open house at the studio on Saturday, April 28th. This is also the same day as the Spring Festival that is held in the antique village in Denham Springs, so this would be a great time to visit the area and browse the local vendors.
The festival lasts from 9-5, and I'll be at the studio all day to answer questions and meet everyone who stops by. We're going to have a drawing for a gift certificate, and offering some other promos, so be sure to stop by!!

May weekends are almost gone

The only weekend sessions left for May are the 26th & 27th. However, I do have some weekend openings on the 5th & 6th for the Fishin' Hole mini session, you can get more info on that in the "news" section of my website.

Weekday sessions are available in the second half of May.

My last post of the day, I promise!!

I wanted to share these since wedding work is still so new to me. This was the first wedding I shot with another photographer working as her second shooter. The couple was lovely, and even though we had a million restrictions as to what we could do, it was still pretty fun.

I'm still not interested in doing these by myself though!

A much needed break

As I mentioned in my blog recently, I was out of town for several days during spring break. My baby turned 3 years old, and I spent a few days just winding down with the kids - it was a much needed break!
I didn't want to feel like I was "working" and just wanted to hang with the kiddos, so I only brought the camera out for a few photos on the evening of her birthday. I also used a disposable camera to play earlier that day and had fun not having to worry about wrecking a pricey camera!

So this is my baby, many of you have met her at the studio since she also serves as my part time assistant. :)

Glowing

I've had a lot of maternity sessions lately, which I always have fun with. There's no denying how beautiful these moms to be are, and I am so happy to be able to capture this special moment for them to keep forever.

Oh those curls!

I am a sucker for curly hair, and especially on little boys. This little guy was a total doll, and his friend Leo was pretty cute too. :)

Going out of town...

I'll be out of town until the weekend, so if you are trying to reach me I will get back with you when I return!
